The power of new possibilities: postal service without borders
O'zbekiston Pochtasi JSC has been Uzbekistan’s national postal operator since 1991. In recent years the company had been actively developing and changing: improving internal processes, renewing its vehicle fleet, building software to deliver services more efficiently, and launching new offers and services. It wanted to become more modern, more agile and more convenient for its customers.

That is why it came to us with a full set of tasks: a large-scale rebrand, a redesign and a definition of the brand’s entire communication system. Customers had to see that the years of stagnation were over and the postal service was moving forward. The rebrand was meant to refresh the company’s image and also rethink its role in the market, showing its transformation from a cumbersome state operator into a dynamic, friendly leader ready for today’s challenges.
The main goal was to prepare for a complete relaunch of the brand that would address the target audience’s needs and remove perception barriers. The company’s image had to be rethought to position it as a strong, reliable player.

We always recommend starting any brand change with research. It is what helps us understand and connect the company’s potential, the market’s opportunities and the audience’s needs.
The research program for O'zbekiston Pochtasi covered quantitative and qualitative marketing studies, a brand health audit and a full industry analysis (market, trends, competitors). Because the brand planned to expand its reach as well as change, we needed to study what the delivery industry looks like outside the country and to hear from very different audience groups, including younger generations, not only loyal customers. It was a long process, but it helped us define the main audience segments, their barriers and drivers, growth points and a list of changes for the brand and the business. Based on these findings, we formulated the company’s core idea: “The power of new possibilities.” It speaks of the possibilities the postal service creates to bring people closer together and help them reach their goals. It is still the same postal operator people have always known, true to its core values of respect for people, accessibility and love for its country, but now drawing on the power of modern possibilities.
Defining a coherent brand platform made it possible to start changing how the company presents itself. The first change was the name. We replaced the long, formal “O'zbekiston Pochtasi” with the short Uzpost.
The new name solved several problems: it signals the company’s national roots with a light touch, reads more easily in local and international languages, and is easier to apply across touchpoints. The move also showed how serious the company was about change.
Before developing the visual identity system, we studied the visual standards and codes typical of postal and delivery services worldwide and took them into account in the brand identity, so the renewed company would stay true to its category and fit naturally into its niche.
As part of the rebrand, we completely renewed the company’s visual identity, creating a set of brand elements that reflect Uzpost’s new strategy and positioning. The logo changed radically: the outdated, formal symbolism gave way to a carrier pigeon representing speed, lightness and the company’s core mission of connecting people. The typography was also reworked to emphasize how modern and convenient the new brand is.
