A5 Group rebrand: a step toward healthier living
A5 Group, a pharmaceutical company in Uzbekistan, needed to change its identity and positioning. After losing the franchise for a Russian brand and carrying on under its own name, the company had to adapt its style and its way of working.

It had been a traditional pharmacy chain, but internal changes and new goals were moving it toward a brand built around healthy living. Our task was to create an image that reflected this new approach, from selling products to giving health advice. The brand needed to feel more personal and friendly to customers without losing trust or professionalism.
We wanted to help the company move from its old pharmacy chain image to a more modern, accessible, people-centered brand. A5 Group was to become more than a place to shop: a real adviser and helper in matters of health and quality of life. We aimed for a positioning that felt less like typical pharma and more like something everyone could relate to.
Throughout the project we held to one principle: clarity. The brand had to be simple and easy for anyone to understand. We made every element of the identity as direct as possible, from the logo to product packaging. Nothing superfluous: only what matters and is useful to the customer.
The new identity rests on simplicity and clarity. We leaned on minimalism to bring out the essence of each product: what it is, what it is for and how to use it. By stripping away clutter, we created a graphic language that is easy to read and feels caring and accessible.
The colors became calm and neutral, easy on the eye yet reassuring. We dropped overly clinical medical symbols to make the brand more human and approachable. The packaging became clearer and friendlier, reflecting the approach the company had begun to put into practice. This helped the brand stand out from competitors that still stick to traditional, austere design.
The new positioning and identity delivered tangible results. A single system made developing new brand materials and packaging simpler and cheaper, while the refreshed image and clearer communication made the brand more visible. Customers now see the company not just as a pharmacy chain but as a health partner that helps and supports them with their personal well-being.
